I really dont know what to do with this code and im almost giving up of reading mangás on my kobo
The file size is probably because you let KCC resize the images.

I'm pretty convinced you are not copying the book on as a kepub. Try taking your KCC epub and copying it onto your Kobo but after renaming it to "filename.kepub.epub" instead of "filename.epub" using it like it was a USB drive and not through Calibre. If that works then try the KU one like that and set up Calibre to send books as a kepub.

For what it's worth, I downloaded the sample, imported it into calibre, KindleUnpacked it to an epub, ran ModifyEpub and then used kepubify to convert it to a .kepub.epub file (I could have used the KoboTouchExtended driver to do the same conversion on the fly as I sent it to my ereader). Since you can KindleUnpack and ModifyEpub multiple files in one operation, this keeps the time and effort down.

I've attached an screenshot of the same page as in the OP's first post to this message.

And does it break with RMSDK as I suspect? I no longer have a Kobo to test with. That is the English edition though that I linked to and not the Portuguese(?) edition like I think OP has. That might have a different image size and structure than the English version. Weirdly I've found the English translations I have often have better quality images than what the Japanese publishers put out.

Your suspicion is correct that RMSDK is not happy with a fixed layout epub3. I did do a version where I took the images and added them into an epub with svg wrappers as the InsertImageSVG plugin for Sigil made that rather easy.

In this case, it's either the wrong settings so the images are being reduced or the images are just too small. if the conversion is to ePub, it should be failry easy in the editor to search/replace to make the images display full screen. The CSS for that is easy to create.
Curious, do you always set the Output as Tablet? Does this not affect the resizing when you actually want to transfer it to a Kobo?

I want to do both, read on a Kobo and read in the calibre viewer. Are you implying I have to have two conversions for ePub, one for tablet and one for e-ink?

The conversion output profile is only used to set the maximum size of images in the converted book. Anything larger than that size will be scaled down to fit inside that size. Anything smaller will be left untouched.

What is usually recommended now is not to change the size of the images. Let the device or app handle that. Most of them will do it with no issues. The biggest problem is usually the code in the book for displaying the images, and that doesn't get changed.

But, do not choose the Kobo profile. That is designed for the original Kobo ereader and the WiFi. They had much lower resolution than your Clara HD and the result of conversion using that would be terrible.
