I wrote about the performed change from Flash to SD in the Kobo Touch, about the SD size in the Kobo Nia and about changes in the SD size of the Kobo Clara - never as a fact about Flash in the Clara, but about the possibility that something might have changed in this respect, because Kobo has already done something like that.

I own a Tolino Page 2 = the Tolino version of the Kobo Nia (Kobo does not exist here).
It had a 16 GB removable Sd card in the slot when I bought it, of which only 8 GB were partitioned.

Und auch wenn die offiziellen Spezifikationen des Tolino Page 2 eine Speicherplatzgröße von 8 GB anführen, zeigt ein Blick unter das Rückcover zumindest bei meinem Gerät ebenfalls eine 16 GB Sandisk MicroSD-Speicherkarte. Dementsprechend passt das auch zu den Angaben des Kobo Nia.

Have you read this topic yourself? There is no image. And there are no more themes in which they would ask for the image of Kobo Nia and someone provided it. Don't you think this is strange?

The Nia has a paltry 256MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The internal storage is housed on an SD card that is soldered onto the motherboard, there is no user accessible SD card slot.

Actually, the kobo Nia has a microsd card indeed. We can verify this on the fcc site: https://fccid.io/NOIKBN306/Internal-...Photos-4694191. Page 3 in the above document shows clearly a microsd slot and the corresponding microsd.

Sorry, I missed your post on fcc. It is however strange that the only images for the Nia on fcc are those showing microsd. I would expect (in the case of a hardware change) new images and new homologation request ...
