I wanted a cover that can handle a bit of water for my H2O (why buy a reader that can handle water if the casing can't?) So, I went for the golden Gecko one.

I can pick up my case at a dropoff station so I am excited If I were to own a h2o I would not use a cover. For protection maybe a sleeve but when going into the bathtube it's bothersome with a cover. |

I have that one too, only thing is I'm not sure it was the salt water (I took it to the beach) but the bottom right hand corner of the cover corroded away leaving the metal exposed. I've painted over with clear nail polish to try and limit any further damage.

As mentioned I went to pick up my cover today at my nearby dropoff station and had no time for to take a closer look.
Firstly my cover is called "Odyssey for Kobo Glo & Glo HD" bought from amazon on their local website for my country for 9,90 Eur which was more likely to be one of the lower end priced cases. From my view/impression the quality is solid. As seen on the inside cover it features some fake stiches which could've been some place to put business cards into but it's no pocket haha. Didn't expect it to be one. The fit is perfect and the magnet to keep everything closed seems to be powerful and embedded into the case very well. The Cover itself isn't as thin as i thought it will be, but the cover seems to be durable so no scratches from another item in a bag can damage the screen. It does not feature a magnet to sleep/unsleep the device though but i guess it's not really required (for me) Overall from the first evening using the case I am confident that this case will at least stay for some time. If i were to give a rating Higher Number means Better ------------ Price: 8 / 10 (Since a 6" kindle one was just 3,60 eur ) Quality: 8 / 10 (Good Quality, premium covers might offer a tad more.) Looks: 9 / 10 (looks simple, not cheap - 10 if it were to match my favourite color) Functions: 6 / 10 (missing business card, no sleep function ) ------------ Overall : 8 / 10 As a Bonus to carry it around with car keys, wallet, etc. I love those "eastpak - the one" bags. Just in the right size to keep a little space when putting an 6-7" e-reader inside with cover, wallet, and some small accessories to keep jeans pockets empty. I use the official kobo cover on my H20 at home and it's very easy to slip it out of the case when I have a bath as it only holds it in on the middle of the sides. It's one of the sleekest cases I've ever had for an ereader.

Me and the wife have covers from http://www.geckocovers.nl/ for our Kobo Auras.
We took the leather versions, which don't seem to exist (yet?) for the Glo HD. We're very happy about build quality and service - but their covers don't really come cheap. Still, highly recommended. |

I'll post a picture of it later, on the run now. I purchased mines from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef_=sr_ph&sr=1
Pretty nice considering the $10 price tag. Even has the subtle slants of the back of the Aura. Oh and the magnetic sleep cover function works! |
