after a large amount of faffing I did not get this to run yet. perhaps tomorrow.

[root@kindle us]# java -Djava.library.path=. -jar ./classes.jar ./

I'm still not sure what you need it for. Isn't jnotify just a library, not an application? You then probably want to include the jar'ed library in your classpath. What's your "main" class/application? Is the long-term goal to use this in Kindlets or something?

Yeah. I actually do have the lib built now. You are 100% correct of course.

I was simply trying the retroweaver the "example" files.
