Great, thank you (and also thanks to Biopresto from the SBF forum) for your help in tracing down the bug.
I have just updated the initial post with version 1.0.11. |

I have just updated the initial post with version 1.0.13, improving the parsing routines and fixing a bug under Windows by explicitly forcing UTF8 encoding while reading the original EPUB file.

I was going through my emails before starting working, so I decided to fix it immediately, since it took 3 minutes to edit the init py file, zip it and update the initial post.
Thank you for reporting the issue! |

Hi guys, I am not dead (fortunately ) but I have been quite busy launching my start-up company.
I plan to work a bit on the plugin in the next two weeks. Hence, if you have bugs to report or features requests, please post! |

I'll give a try because I've just found another book which doesn't show the spine, so it doesn't work

I doubt this update will solve your problem with that book, since I have just added the removal function.
It looks like a problem parsing the spine of your eBook. You can send it to me via email but I doubt I will be able to look at it before 3-4 days. |

Don't worry, I've checked it with Sigil and I've found some problems. I've corrected them and it works now. Thank you very much again for your plugin.

I have a question. I see the picture in the ex libris at the Calibre viewer, but at no other (Sony, iBooks, Bluefire, Stanza). It's a jpg file. Is that a problem?

Do you mean that your ex libris XHTML page has an <img> tag pointing to a JPEG image, which is shown in the Calibre viewer but NOT in Sony, iBooks, Bluefire, Stanza reader?
Is the image stored in the "ex libris"-ed eBook? (it should be in the exlibris/ dir). Is the image really a JPEG image? (Maybe it is a PNG image, called image.jpg --- this situation might be problematic, since exlibris chooses the mimetype for the OPF file using the extension of the image file.) |
