Desciption: A superb medical resource containing one of the largest offline drug references I know of, plus an interaction checker and pill identifier. This latest version can update itself without Google Market access. I have used the Palm OS version of this for over 6 years and it is an invaluable piece of software whether you're a doctor, nurse, paramedic, or just a regular person who wonders if it's safe to take Benadryl and Diphenhydramine hydrochloride at the same time (in case your wondering, don't do that).

Description: You will need an internet or mobile subscription ... but I had one and was very happy to have it on my eDGe. It says it needs 2.2 but it works for me. The best part of this apk is that my work blocks all internet radio, games, social networking sites... but somehow this works!! Pandora is blocked and so is RadioTime (another outstanding apk), but SiriusXM is not blocked!! The only issue behind a serious firewall or content blocker is that the song information is not updated. But the music and sports is a go! And when you are not blocked, everything else works. Just my $.02. I love it...

Description: Castle Wolfenstein. I grew up with this game and it is playable on the eDGe. You have to find the games you want.. but they have a great search engine built into the cAndy apk. It is very well thought out. You can install this apk and be up and running games in minutes... But you will take some time to tweak the controls. A usb keyboard is recommended. The link below lists all the other versions. I could not get 1.58 or 1.59 to work. So I linked the 1.57 that I am currently running.

The only thing it doesn't do is graphing.

Description: This is a universal unit conversion application where you specify the source unit (e.g. lbs) and value (e.g. 25) and it lists the equivalent value in all other units (e.g. oz, kg, tonnes, stones, etc.). A bit clumsy to use given you can't "pick" the destination unit, but does work.

Widgets don't "open". Long press on your home screen and choose widgets, find the one you want in the list and tap on it. If you don't want a widget any more long press on it and drag to the trash can that shows on the bottom of your screen.

I guess I didn't realize it was a widget not an app. Thank you. I'm obviously not very adept at this but I'm learning

It's all good, the forum is how everyone learns.
