Thanks! Still, I must be doing something wrong. I opened the "edit metadata in bulk" window, then "Search and replace". Where should I put the destination (my new column)? I typed in the original column's name in "search field", "(.+)" in "search for" and "\1 " in "replace with".
What is a "type violation"? |

Where it says search mode: character match, you want to change that to Regular Expressions. A new field will open up called Destination Field.
