In any case, I had no luck with uploading the files directly to the Wiki -- they're larger than the upload limit, evidently. |

I found a rather nasty bug in the latest version. I often save as a BD file (html0), when working on large books. I like to compile an entire series within the same book. Twice now, and I have not determined under which conditions this occurs exactly, saving the file will wipe it out instead. If I look at the file size directly, it's 1kb. If I open the file it's empty. I still have the BD file open with all 1300 pages, but saving the document under any format will simply create a 1kb file. If I export it to LRF, it generates a book with only the cover page, nothing else. I tried copying the content of the book and pasting it into a new BD file and the same thing occurs.
This is a huge bug, as I have not found a way to save the book I was working on yet. |

Angelyne, I suggest you go back to the 04/12/2007 version then. Since you seem to have a major problem with 05/30/2007.

I will, but I was really enjoying the ability to select lines from the element browser and change them directly from a title to a centered paragraph. <sigh>

What I suggest is put in a bug report with vvv so he can fix that bug or maybe tell you what to do to get around it or why it happens.
Here is the thread to do so... https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11113 |

I knew it was April something or other. I did not find it stable under XP for me. I have generated almost all of the Harvard Classics series using the May release. Covers and all.

I didn't even know that there are new updates. I recently installed BD on my computer at work and all I found was the same update as I have at home: 04/12/2007

I'd stick with that version if I were you, AL. I've found the later 5/30 update to be extremely buggy.
