Pocketbook sollte nicht versuchen, die Bugs durch die Community beheben lassen; dann könnte man auch gleich die hauseigenen Programmierer hochkant rauswerfen. Wozu braucht man sie dann auch noch?
Die Firmware sollte erst einmal firmenintern so stabil und mitsamt aller Features erstellt werden, dass die Community danach damit "spielen" kann. Schon beim PB 360 habe ich mich gefragt, wie viele offizielle/inoffizielle Varianten nun eigentlich bei den Usern installiert sind. Die Firmware der Community auszuhändigen ist keine Lösung für den Massen-/Endverbrauchermarkt. Und DEN will/muss Pocketbook erreichen. |

Man sollte schon trennen zwischen einer Firmware deren Entwicklung beim Hersteller liegt, und Anwendungen die auch von einer Community entwickelt werden.
Wenn die Firmware bei der Community liegt wer ist dann für die Gewährleistung zuständig ? Dazu gehört ja nicht nur das die Hardware nicht defekt ist sondern auch dass das Gerät seiner Bestimmung nach genutzt werden kann. |

Trotzdem besteht ja ein großteil der Entwicklung darin Bugs zu suchen und Probleme auszumerzen.
Da kann dann das offizielle Entwicklungsteam den Code der Community verwenden, so wie sie ja für das bestehende System ja auf die Community der Linuxprogrammierer zurückgegriffen hat. Aber schlussendlich muss es eine offizielle Firmware geben, aber es kann ja nicht schaden wenn es ein paar inoffizielle Firmwares für Nieschengebrauch gibt. Und wenn dann ein Feature taugt kann es die offzizielle Version mit aufnehmen- Gibts nen Smiley mit einem "Ich will das SDK jetzt" Schild? |

Nun, die Firmware hat ja nun gar nichts mir der sogenannten umstruckturierung zu tun, das geschieht ja woanders. Ausserdem bin ich der Meinung die Jungs sollten mal Seminare mitmachen wie man so mit Kunden umgeht, wegen Umzug den Service einschränken geht mal gar nicht, wenn man umzieht hat der Service weiterzulaufen, erst wird die neue Firma aufgebaut und wenn die steht kann man die alte abbauen, haben wir auch schon zwei mal gemacht, da hat der Kunde nichts von bemerkt.

was denkst du denn, wo radebeul liegt?!? Ist quasi ein Vorort von DD - nur nicht so vollgestaut und zugeparkt wie die landeshauptstadt... Radeberg oder Radeburg wären auch Optionen gewesen :-)
