Tu avais raison en ce qui concerne la Galaxy Note 8: le prix a encore baissé un peu au Canada (rabais ponctuel probablement, mais c'est bon signe): ce sera peut-être aussi le cas en France. Pour les pdf, Adobe Reader me semble le plus efficace ce qui représente un changement appréciable en regard de la version Windows quelque peu en surchage pondérale... En passant, et tu dois le savoir, on peut télécharger des dictionnaires et même Google translate off-line, ce qui est très pratique lorsqu'on doit lire une langue complexe. Bye samhy! |

Une Galaxy Note 8 est quelque part en France, en route pour chez moi Je vous en dirais plus quand je l'aurais reçue utilisée.
Ça ne me dit rien. Ces dictionnaires sont-ils liés à une application en particulier ? Je serai curieuse d'en savoir plus. |

Les dictionnaires dont je parle sont disponibles dans le Google Play Store sous des titres comme "English, French, Spanish 2.3", etc. Il y en a bien d'autres (comme le Merriam-Webster bien noté), mais certains doivent avoir accès au réseau (pas très pratique dans les Cévennes). Ceux dont je parle ne sont pas liés à une application particulière: on le ouvre et on tape un mot; les synonymes y sont et y a des mises à jour. En passant, il est fort probable que ta nouvelle tablette ait un dictionnaire intégré, c'est du moins le cas avec les Asus je pense. Bonne journée samhy! PS Je crois que Aceflor (j'espère qu'elle va bien) a la même tablette, elle pourra donc t'aider si nécessaire. |

Je n'utilise de dicos que quand je lis en fait (je devrais pourtant les utiliser plus souvent, mais je suis paresseuse), donc j'utilise les intégrés et je ne m'etais jamais intéréssée aux autres. Comme quoi il était temps que je repasse par ici. J'adore ma Note 8, l'utilisation du stylet est impeccable. |

Elle est arrivée hier, mais je n'ai pas pu m'en occuper avant tard hier soir. Entre la mise en route et les différentes mises à jour, je ne l'ai pas regardée de très près. Par contre, je confirme le temps d'apprentissage de l'utilisation du stylet (ou plutôt des applications utilisant la reconnaissance d'écriture).
Bon point, la luminosité peut être réglée plus bas que sur la Memo Pad 8. Pour le reste, je vais découvrir au fur et à mesure. |

Content de savoir que tu vas bien Ace! et si tes voyages sont motivants, c'est déjà un bon remède contre la fatigue. Ce que tu dis à propos de la Galaxy Note 8 est instructif, je veux dire le fait qu'elle puisse remplacer un notebook, ce n'est pas rien. On la trouve ici (dans une seule boutique cependant) en promo à 330$ (HT). Lorsque j'ai acheté ma Acer elle valait 430$ (HT): c'est une réduction notable et je vais surveiller attentivement toute autre baisse. En passant, quelle version d'Android utilise-t-elle présentement (4.2 ou 4.3)? Ou pour formuler plus précisément: les mises à jour de Samsung sont-elles fréquentes? En fait, je me demande si la technologie intégrée dans cette tablette (Wacom) justifie la prime exigée par Samsung, car pour le même prix on peut avoir au Canada une Asus Memo Pad HD 10' qui a un bien bel écran (mais pas la reconnaissance de l'écriture). Bref, j'ai bien hâte de lire les commentaires de samhy, et les tiens peut-être Ace, à son propos. NB: samhy je viens de lire que tu as reçu ta tablette: cool! Et les mises à jour? Elle était livrée en 4.1 et s'est mise à jour en 4.2. Il y a quelques temps Samsung avait annoncé la liste des appareils passant à KitKat (4.4) et la Galaxy Note 8 en faisait partie.
Par contre, je n'ai aucune idée des délais sous lesquels cette mise à jour sera faite (je pense qu'on parle de mois). -- Je ne sais pas si c'est lié au passage 4.1 -> 4.2 mais maintenant je sais mieux ouvrir la zone de saisie manuelle. L'utilisation du stylet devient rapidement naturelle. J'apprécie de pouvoir scroller juste en orientant le stylet vers le bas ou le haut de l'écran, sans avoir besoin de le toucher. Bref, je poursuis mes découvertes mais pour le moment je suis comme une petite fille le matin de Noël |

Aujourd'hui j'avais quelques bons de commande à signer. Je trouve toujours le processus "imprimer deux pages, en signer une, puis envoyer l'ensemble par la Poste" fastidieux. Je pourrais imprimer et scanner, mais l'imprimante et le scanner ne fonctionnent pas directement avec mon ordinateur.
Donc, ayant désormais une tablette avec un stylet, j'ai importé les bons dans S Note, j'ai utilisé le "stylo noir"* le plus fin possible et j'ai ensuite exporté le tout en PDF. Il y a une perte de qualité lors de l'export, mais je ne pense pas que cela pose un problème dans ce cas précis (j'attends confirmation de mon contact après les vacances scolaires). Je pense que vous vous en doutez, mais je suis toujours autant ravie avec cette tablette * la prochaine fois, si prochaine fois il y a, j'essayerai avec le "crayon de papier" là encore le plus fin possible. |

Si elle est validée, la fonction dont tu parles est intéressante.
Dis donc samhy, lorsque tu en auras le temps, et si ça te tente bien entendu, je pense que ce serait cool si tu nous faisais une petite comparaison entre ta première tablette et la nouvelle, car elles ont des caractéristiques communes, ne serais-ce que par la taille de l'écran. Pour un potentiel acheteur ou acheteuse, savoir ce qui n'était pas au poil dans la première et ce que la seconde fait de mieux, ou de pire, pourrait être utile. Bye! |

Les bons de commande signés sont apparemment passés sans problème, mais je savais que je pouvais "expérimenter" avec cette structure.
