So langsam habe ich meine TBR-Liste für unsere Challenge zusammen, ist schon sehr schwierig, da eine Auswahl zu treffen. Inzwischen sind es auch 6 Papierbücher, die sonst eher geringe Chancen hätten, nochmal in den Focus zu gelangen.
Erinnern wollte ich auch nochmal alle daran, dass es bereits am 1. Januar mit dem Buchclub weitergeht. Zunächst mit einem kurzen Vorgespräch und dann ab dem 5. Januar mit der Nominierung der Bücher. Thema ist diesmal "Der Norden". |

Ich finde zwar 5 Teilnehmer schon ganz gut, kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, dass nicht noch mehr ihre TBR-Liste etwas abbauen wollen. Wir sind doch in einem mobilen Leseforum, da muss es einfach Rückstände geben.
Also traut euch und schaut in die TBR-Challenge rein und überlegt, welche Bücher ihr endlich in 2014 lesen wollt. |

*schulterzuck* Meine TBR-Liste ist hunderte von Büchern lang. Und ich werde davon nächstes Jahr mit Sicherheit einige lesen und im "Was lest ihr gerade"-Thread davon berichten. Und wahrscheinlich werden auch einige neue Bücher hinzukommen. Aber ich wähle das nächste zu lesende Buch eigentlich immer spontan nach augenblicklicher Befindlichkeit aus, daher macht die TBR-Challenge für mich keinen Sinn.

Das wünsche ich natürlich Dir und unseren Buchclub-Freunden auch!
Am 1. geht es nebenbei auch schon wieder mit der Auswahl unseres nächsten Buches los und auch die TBR-Challenge würde sich über weitere Teilnehmer freuen. Ich habe jetzt auch schon ein paar Sachen für die Challenge an gelesen, ein paar wieder runter geschmissen und neue zur Liste hinzugefügt. Ich bin ja mal gespannt, ob ich die Bücher alle schaffe. Die Liste ist jetzt auch etwas ambitionierter als vorher geworden. Die größte Herausforderung ist wohl Wolkenatlas, da der Autor im Mittelteil auch mit der Sprache experimentiert. Wölfe von Mantel liest sich schon mal gut. Da hatte ich anderes erwartet. Mein Nachtschrank ist jetzt jedenfalls voll mit Lesegeräten und Büchern. So muss es sein! Für "Der Norden" habe ich derzeit noch gar nichts Konkretes im Auge, während mir für "Great Britain" schon spontan viele Sachen einfallen. Da werde ich mich dann sehr beschränken müssen. |

Zukunft des Buchclubs
Ich denke seit einiger Zeit über die Zukunft des Buchclubs nach. Ich glaube das Auswahlsystem, was wir im wesentlichen vom englischen Bereich übernommen haben, funktioniert in unserer kleinen Gruppe nicht so gut.
Ich finde die momentane Lesegruppe sehr inhomogen, teilweise entgegengesetzte Leseinteressen, die für mich immer mehr zum Problem werden, da ich dieses Gegeneinander gar nicht mag und mir die Freude am Buchclub nimmt. Die Frage ist, ob wir nicht mit mehreren kleinen Leserunden glücklicher wären, die mehr den Interessen der jeweiligen Mitglieder entsprechen. Wenn wir beim derzeitigen Thema "Der Norden" bleiben, würde das z.B. bedeuten, dass ein Klassiker, ein Krimi oder auch phantastische Literatur gleichzeitig angeboten würden. Selbst wenn dann vielleicht nur 2-3 Personen lesen, könnte ich mir eher vorstellen, dass sich auch neue Leser anschließen. Man bräuchte auch die Bücher nicht alle zeitgleich lesen, so dass man an mehreren Leserunden teilnehmen kann, wenn man denn möchte. Mir schwebt da vor, dass etwa alle 2-4 Wochen eine Leserunde angeboten wird. Dazu könnte man dann eine Art Kalender erstellen, wo sich dann auch Neueinsteiger orientieren können. Ich würde es schade finden, wenn die ganze Buchclub-Idee immer mehr im Sande verläuft, denn das gemeinsame Lesen finde ich eine sehr schöne Sache. Last edited by hamlok; 01-13-2014 at 03:51 AM. |
