Then again we could take an avatar based on an image inspired by the first part of her name.

Yes, I know it's Link, but a gif of Zelda is hard to find. |

Zelda:
While we are on the subject of pinwheels (I love that animated one you posted), why stop at just one. How about a sea of pinwheels (oh, alright, a wall of them). Let's see you animate this one... nudge nudge BTW, I have another 'Question Mark' avatar that needs fixing in my friends list. Oh, Dale, where are you Dale? Listening? That totally ROCKS! No, no, that boulders! No, I have it: It GIBRALTARS! If you don't use it, I may! Well ... I might if I weren't so attached to my own -- but still, I'm tempted! |

my my, you have had a busy night ! (well it was night for me, anyway. a girl's gotta get her beauty sleep if she wants to keep looking like this.)
i'm feeling the avatar love i've never had any nicer present than all these avatars ! thanks slayda for the animation (even it it only works when it wants to) ! thanks Wood for your highly pertinent contribution, nicely done ! extra props for representing the original Z of the P... you sir win a fish ! nate the great, that is a very cute little elf ! but the link doesn't work ? nick, HOW did you do that ??? did you really make ALL those pinwheels ??? amazing !! i feel i should come over and blow on all of them. you just tell me where you live and i'll stop by a little later . Marc, the psychic mind-link is clearly still in full-force, it's like looking in a mirror. hugz and pastrees to you too chéri, i might even let you have my croissant aux amandes (it's my favorite pastrees). in fact, pastrees for everyone ! that's better than a fish anyway, right ? i wanted to wait a bit longer but now i've seen them all i can't help myself !! must... add.... avatar !! as promised of course i'm starting with Natch's avatar, he is after all the one to break the ice ! since you seem to like the animation i added i'll use that version, i hope that's all right with you. but anybody else who wants to make one I AM STILL ACCEPTING AVATARS !! i like this so much i will NEVER close this thread. i'm probably just overexcited... maybe i should have stopped before the third cup of coffee. to everybody ! |

ZP, MobileRead. ZP, Unutterable Silliness. ZP, Director of Farce. ZP, Pirandello. All seem like logical associations to me. A Pirandello character might be just the ticket. But which one? The stepdaughter in Six Characters in Search of an Author? She can't control her amusement over the actions of others. Or maybe the Manager who prompts ever more madness? Or how about a spectator from the audience? One that yells "Asylum! Asylum!" at the author but who returns for every performance. Perhaps you're Pirandello's muse. There must have been an inspirational source for his chaos. Or maybe you're Pirandello himself. Pirandello, risen from the undead, incessantly tramping the streets of Paris (with Renée Z.) looking for blighters. She (it) is in search of blood. But you, you search for souls.

Asylum ! Asylum ! you're right, i yell that all the time, i search for it, and others want to send me to one... aah, Pirandello. brilliant contribution from the man who started it all, thanks Vivaldi... ps how do i add a line to the end of my profile (under my shiny new avatar) ? i want to add the credit line there, but i can't find how to do it so for now i had to settle for adding it as my signature... |

You could add it to the avatar image. Not quite what you want but maybe close.
