Someone just got xterm going IIRC/. (You'll have to search that), there was some issue about the keyboard IIRC
you would need to launch the thing "by hand" (You'll have to search that) (SSH) but I don't see why not in the end |

Okay so.... Getting this going on the PW via Kterm and KUAL
Basically Install Kterm (version 0.4 with the command support is required) Install Kindle Unified Application Launcher Install Binaries from Top post I installed dialog in /mnt/us/usr/bin as that is in my custom path. Do what is best for your setup, plenty of advice in the top post Use the amended extensions launcher bundle (attached). replace the FROTZ entries that you have if necessary. Fvek has kindly updated the top post with an updated launcher script set. Use that. shove a game in /mnt/us/if (freefall pictured) enjoy. Last edited by twobob; 01-29-2013 at 05:23 PM. I installed the newest launcher, copied the kterm and frotz folder into my extensions folder, created a bin folder, and copied "frotz", ".dialogrc", and "dialog" into it, and created a "if" folder and copied a zcode adventure there.
But the launcher shortcut isn't working for me; it just flashes "/mnt/us/extensions/frotz/bin/start_frotz_shell.sh" at the bottom of the screen for a moment, and boots me back to the home screen. I can launch kterm from the launcher fine, and I can manually launch frotz through kterm. |

I updated the first post with a new version (1.1.2) set up for kterm and KUAL.
Curudan: I think your problem is that twobob's fix above uses the scripts from xterm that cause kterm to not run right (the same one's I forgot to edit properly too ) Use my new version and it should work (hopefully). |

Which is not the installation layout that twobob reported as working above.

yep
you need to specify a location in full I go for /mnt/us/if/whatever.sav that will work. HTH EDIT: perhaps we could ask the author to fix that. if we asked REALLY nicely : D Last edited by twobob; 02-06-2013 at 10:38 AM. Reason: s/t/f |

Is there any way to get zblorb files to run?
I tried replacing ZCODE with ZBLORB in "frotz_sh", but it didn't work. |
