Can you spoonfeed me this? I'm only have my ereader (and a trackball mouse) with me at the moment, but found a Github tool for extracting DTB that I can run on my uncle's computer tomorrow. Otherwise, I can run shell commands in su termux too. |

Oops, I'm stupid. There's no such thing as "MaxLumi1", it's "MaxLumi". Code:

Actually would, you seem cool -- alas, I'm Australian!
Funnily enough though my parents are in London right now; my mum called me glowing having attached a document to an email, very proud here. Unsure how across on unix she is, but if you're really into interior design (or earthmoving for my dad) you might have a vibe going Quote:

but it's just oversight on your voting system (first-past-the-post instead of preferential) that's caused the problems. All you need is a meme. After unboxing, I updated from stock directly to 3.5 and the touch screen stopped working. On factory firmware it worked perfectly. I'm heading home myself soon and have access to ADB again too |

I just got the 3.5.1 going on my Poke5
Maybe you might be getting one soon? There's no 3.5.1 yet for you. Have you tried updating again? I'm not sure if it will do that, but you can try. You can download http://firmware-us.boox.com/382647ca...2e6/update.upx adb push it to sdcard (as is, a upx) Code:
am start -a onyx.settings.action.firmware |

Heya,
Yeah, I had tried doing that but no dice! I'll send a message to Boox Support giving them a bunch of information, and maybe the upcoming update might fix this. I'll keep you posted, but if you end up vibing with the Poke recovery let me know x |

Meaning? It wouldn't even try updating (because it's the same) or it updated but there was no difference?
Sorry, I spaced on this. I was working on too many models and too many problems and got confused. This should be a piece of cake to figure out. Is the back off this thing? Power down, there is an orange flex PCB (cable) with a little square IC on it. There's only one with a chip that you can see. With the power off, lift the little black bail on the connector with a fingernail. Your knuckle faces the main board. Remove the flex PCB, maybe clean it lightly with a paper towel moist with isopropyl alcohol. Put it back in. Try it again. There are other things you could try, but they involve DVM, oscilloscope or testing the panel without the Max itself. Last edited by Renate; 05-04-2024 at 12:04 PM. |

Honestly I've genuinely been discussing with people how I'd like to interview you in a friendly sort of way; you seem like a great bloke.
It wouldn't update because it was the same, but I tried sideloading an update .zip which passed but had the same problem. I can try get the back off and do this PCB stuff, but is there any other software stuff we can try? It only stopped working after updating from stock to latest, so I was hoping that Onyx had missed incrementing something in an update. Otherwise, I'll get to work! |
