As a member of the Yahoo Fictionwise group I received the following details by email from another member who lives in Korea who had contacted the Nuut company to get more information:

At least we know now that if we live outside of Korea, don't bother to waith for the NUUT NP-601. Thanks Moonraker for that.

Anyone heard anything more about these devices?
I live in Korea and I can't find it anywhere! There is another one - the SORIBOOK, which looks much better. No luck finding it though. |

Forget about the NUUT - it's limited to a few formats. The SORIBOOK is the one you should be looking out for - but there's no word on that either!

Naa, PDFs might be big, but at least some compression is possible. So giving them the honorific "Oh wastefullness" .. might want to reserve that for BMP or similar...
Thanks |

Well since I don't speak Korean and English is my second language I think I did pretty good. btw Ignorance is my first language and I sometimes revert to it. I've played with some of the translation sites by converting from say English to Russian and then back to English. It's amazing what you end up with. |

Almost all ebook maker use E-Ink technology. It is E-ink corp control the latest technology; hence there is almost no different on E-ink display as long as maker use E-ink latest technology.
Differences to consider: 1. No. of formats supported - PDF, TXT, HTML, DOC, RTF, LIT, WOL, CHM, Mobipocket 2. Languages - Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, All European Languages Then - you should look for Genuine Ebook maker, like Hanlin V3 |
