I would like to add my site to this list if I may. I didn't want to go and spam the main forums, but saw this thread and found it very appropriate.
Kinfinity (formally known as allKindle) is a UK specific Kindle forum. As much as MobileRead and KindleBoards are excellent resources, they are very USA-centric, mostly because the Kindle 3 is the first incarnation to be "officially" in the UK. allKindle was set up to fill that particular gap in the market, and to compliment all the sites are already there. More choice is a good thing IMO. With over 3600 posts and almost 350 members since it launched 6 weeks ago, I hope allKindle can be considered a link every Kindle owner should have. Thanks for all this links, I just got my Kindle 3, 3 days ago. So I'm just browsing around what other helpful stuff is out there for my K3.

here are some of mine that i use. most of all these are mobile versions of websites because i like the cleaner look of the sites and not really many ads and not to mention load faster
http://en.m.wikipedia.org (mobile version of wikipedia) http://www.google.com/m (mobile version of google) http://foxnews.mobi http://m.cnet.com/site?sid=cnet mail.google.com/mail/x/ https://www.google.com/voice/m http://maps.google.com/m http://m.blb.org (bible/dictionary/concordance/etc.) http://images.google.com/m http://news.google.com/m http://touch.facebook.com/login.php (m.facebook.com always gave me problems with the input but the touch version i think looks nicer and easier to use. ) http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/h.html http://newadvent.org/cathen/ (works well with the kindle article mode) Last edited by r--t*nix; 09-21-2010 at 11:39 PM. |

Takes XML/RSS/Subscribe links and sends them to your kindle for fast and easy viewing as a book each day so that you don't have to go to each site(which takes forever if you've tried sorting through headlines and then actually viewing them). I am the creator, and this week I'll be putting in a feature so that the full article/story gets put into the ebook as well. Right now it's great in that you see all the headlines without firing up that browser, but next week hopefully you won't even have to do that! So you will be able to actually read the stories, change the font, etc. all the benefits from ebooks instead of the browser limitations. And you get the morning paper delivered to you, how great is that?! |

it will try to format any given page to mobile version (+ option to disable images) (in case it is already posted, sorry for duplicity) |
