Angeblich mussten die französischen, italienischen, deutschen, spanischen, katalanischen und portugiesischen Übersetzer von Dan Browns neuesten Buch "Inferno" laut Mail Online zwei Monate lang unter höchster Geheimhaltung in einem "unterirdischen Bunker" in Italien an der Übersetzung arbeiten.

Ich habe das auch vor ein paar Tagen gesehen. Aber man muss im Kopf behalten: Das sind eben Italiener. D.h. das ist auch eher eine PR-Show um weltweit auf das futuristische Mondadori-Gebäude aufmerksam zu machen, in dessen Kellergewölben man die Übersetzer eingesperrt hat.

Ich möchte den Film gar nicht im voraus schlecht machen, aber ich finde das amerikanische Kino derzeit so einfallslos, lieber immer wieder die gleichen Geschichten wiederholen oder Fortsetzungen drehen als etwas Neues zu versuchen. Dabei gibt es so viele Stoffe, die sich noch lohnen würden.

In dem Moment wo die Produktion eines Films mehrere hundert Millionen Euro kostet werden natürlich nur solche Filme produziert die den »Publikumsgeschmack« treffen. Das Publikum, dessen Geschmack dort getroffen werden soll, kann man ja besichtigen indem man sich Samstag abends um 20 Uhr vor ein Kino stellt und mal schaut was dort so rein läuft an Leuten.
Wenn man meint man würde nicht dazugehören, dann gibt es ja in jeder Stadt auch Kinosäle die andere Filme zeigen. Oder Theater. Oder Tanzbühnen. Literaturhäuser. Oder Konzertsäle. Für manche Menschen ist es auch interessant mal echte Schauspieler auf einer Studiobühne in echt zu sehen, statt irgendwelche digital verschönerten Hollywoodschauspieler zwölf Meter hoch projiziert anzustarren. Allerdings muss ich bei diesen speziellen F.A.Z.-Artikel sagen das er mich ziemlich überrascht hat denn es geht eigentlich nur um das Buch und um den Autor und die näheren Umstände der Werkentstehung. Ein Film (egal wie schlecht er auch sein mag) sollte aber wohl besser als eigenständiges Werk betrachtet werden. F. Scott Fitzgerald hat da eigentlich nicht viel mit zu tun, denn jetzt ist 2013 und Fitzgerald hat dazu nichts zu sagen denn der ist schon etwas länger tot. Naja. Auch eine Form der Filmbesprechung, aber leider eine die stärker die eigenen Kenntnisse und Interessen in den Vordergrund rückt als den Film, um den es ja eigentlich gehen sollte. Kommt vor so etwas. |
