While your registered account works for all tracs, when you login, your login won't carry over. It's session-related. If this is a big problem, I may look into it and see if it's possible without too much modification to carry over sessions in tracs.

Am I really quoting myself? Oops... Well, after a quick look it seems rather easy to fix. Trac uses Paths with Cookies for storing login credentials; it should be possible to remove the path or to set it to / to make it domain-wide. Will check tomorrow!

Update: Trac is also storing session parameters in its database. Since every project uses an isolated Trac with its own database, it won't be possible to simply carry over a session.

If I want to upload a source release and binaries how do I do it? Which address was it (I cannot find the description of this...) and how do I do it from a Makefile?

Tom, when you created your new project, you should have received some instruction. For uploading sources it's best to use subversion. You can find some quick info on subversion here:

All the projects hosted at the Hub have their subversion repositories located here (as a subdirectory):

If you want to upload binaries via FTP, you can login with your credentials at:

ftp://dev.mobileread.com

Binaries you upload via FTP will be immediately available for everyone to download at in a subdirectory here:

https://dev.mobileread.com/dist/

That information was not given I think. Especially that the directory you log in to is the same as the one for the distribution.

It's on the main Wiki page of your newly created project. But you are right; it's probably a good idea to make a help page summarizing all the necessary services and their URLs, respectively.

It was a long time since I used ftp... I got it to work.
