I went looking for Bibles to use some Kobo coupons on and found a couple of bargains. Links are to Kobo, since that's where I'm looking at the moment. Since these are sale prices from the publisher, they should be the same everywhere else.

The NCV edition of the Lucado Devotional Bible is $3.99 before coupons.

The Believer's Bible Commentary is $3.99 before coupons.

If you can score one of the 75% off coupons, you can get each of these for a buck.

A ChristianBook.com Daily Deal and How to Get on Their Email List

One of ChristianBook.com's Daily eBook Deals today is Whatever Happened to Truth? Edited by Andreas L. Kostenberger. $1.59. Retail $12.99. Alas, though, all of their ebooks, to my knowledge, are .epub. http://www.christianbook.com/whateve...9017/pd/7416EB.

This book helps show us how a correct mind-set on truth will best enable us to understand the tenets of the Bible. It offers hope and steadfastness to the readers by reminding us of the irreplaceable value of truth. With exceptional scholarship and powerful arguments, truth is upheld throughout the pages of this clear and thoughtful work . . . .

Whatever Happened to Truth is a compilation of four plenary addresses given at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Theology Society. Each essay approaches the issue of truth from a different vantage point. Andreas Kostenberger offers a biblical exposition of Pilate's question to Jesus, "What is truth?"; Albert Mohler provides a cultural commentary, warning evangelicals to avoid the postmodern mood and its effects; J. P. Moreland provides a philosophical defense of a modest foundationalism and a correspondence theory of truth; and Kevin Vanhoozer concludes with a hermeneutical-theological essay on truth. These four essays are framed by Kostenberger's clear and helpful introductory and concluding essays . . . .

I want to use this post as an opportunity to let you know that Christianbook.com greatly marks down three or four ebooks every day and sends out a list of them (just after midnight Eastern time). This title that I've just posted appears on today's list. The markdowns last for only one day. These books do not appear on their regular free ebooks page (naturally, since none of the daily deals are free)(which you can access by clicking on "ebooks" near the top of their homepage (http://www.christianbook.com, then clicking on "free ebooks" under "Christian eBooks"). To get on their mailing list for the daily deals, put your pointer over (do not click) "eBooks" near the top of the Christianbook.com's homepage. From the drop-down menu select "Sign-up for eBook Deals."

Thanks. I've been an occasional Christianbook customer for a while, but didn't realize they had a specific email list for ebooks.

Thanks for your great finds, too! I've bought several of them so far.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm still new to this ebook thing and not "up" on DRM and non-DRM stuff very much.
