Thanks. I did manage to install the koreader. But can't seem to take screenshot with it. The corner to corner swipe only flashes the screen. There isn't even a screenshot setting in gesture manager. But there is a setting to set screenshot directory.
Im at loss now! |

It works for me going from the top-left corner towards the bottom-right corner. It also now gives you the option of having the screenshot image as the screensaver.

Kobo Aura ONE, 4.18.13737. I can’t install CoolReader, the book indexes all files as documents from /.kobo.

When installing the CoolReader on Coba Libra 2, the start screen is turned 180 and does not respond to touch. Installed using NickelMenu.

Given that not many people use CoolReader on a Kobo, it may not have been updated for the Libra 2. I suggest you dump it and move on to KOReader and/or Plato which do work.

Hi I'm trying to install KOreader (or Plato) where I can directly boot into the reader. I've followed the instructions here to install both readers which are accessed via nickelmenu but I still need to boot into nickel and then open the specific reader. I have Kobo Libra 2 with the latest (4.38.23171) firmware.
I have come across a forum post from several years ago which states that KSM is the only way to boot directly into one of the readers but it looks like it's deprecated and no longer recommended. Any ideas? Thanks in advance |

Ok thanks. I just hate the Nickel start page more than anything else. I cannot get rid of the Kobo ads/ tour suggestions no matter what I do

Enable sideload mode, and that will eliminate the Home screen entirely.
