I am not sure I understand your statistics. The IMP ebooks seem not to include downloads after 2007 for Patricia and others. I know she continues to post books that I have downloaded.

It would seem so, but, the criteria was, that the .IMP ebook first had to be one of the Top 100 downloaded to be listed. Then, I amalgamated "just those" ebooks into the Summary listing. If you sort the Detailed form (in the .xls spreadsheet) by Uploader then by Upload Date, you can see how the comments were derived.

Of the ebooks posted during 2008, none have (yet) attained that distinction; due primarily to the "relatively shorter time" that it has been exposed to the public!

The statistics do not include all ebooks posted by an Uploader; just the ones on the Top 100 downloaded list. The only conclusions that should be drawn from these statistics are ones that bear this limitation in mind!

And yet the list is still flawed. It only counts the downloads of the file or files included in the posting. When books are changed or revised some people remove the prior book and at best will leave a text based post count of the prior downloads.

For example, Harry wonderful Sherlock Holmes Omnibus reports that it has been downloaded 339 times. However, a note above it informs us that there were 2,012 previous downloads of prior versions for a total of 2,351 downloads. This would move that book from #80 on your list for the BBeB/LRF books to #2.

Yes, it would seem that the list is indeed flawed; especially given the inability to extract and accumulate any multplie revisions into it. My apologies to those left out. It was not my intent.

The list was compiled using an advanced attachment seach of the ebook Uploads forum and perhaps the previous downloads could have been incorporated into the list, but it would have been much more labour intensive.

Perhaps, until then, the list should be renamed to "Top 100 (unrevised) ebooks downloaded"!
