Hi. I want to install gonyx on a C67ML because I understood that you FOV made some improvements on the firmware. I dont see any Onyx versions but I understant I have to uncompres the .img and only install the system.img on my Onyx. I am right?

Original firmware is currently at version 1.8.2, the latest Gonyx I found is the 1.7.4, are there any chance to see a Gonyx version 1.8.2? It looks like big improvements have been made. What do you think @FOV?

Does anyone updated a C67ML Carta2 Plus device in 1.8.2? I might accidentally flashed wrong kernel.img. Can someone extract and upload it?

Yes, but now 1.8.2 have some bugs and Onyx work on this firmware to fix it.
By me, 1.7.4-1.7.5 from FOV is better ;-)

Hi everyone, I have a rebranded version of these Chinese e-book readers that looks like this:

The specifications are:
6inch e-ink
212 ppi resolution
512mb ram
Dual core 1 ghz cpu
Front light
Physical page turn button

What is the exact model of this device? And could I use the Mod and rooting method of this thread on it to jailbreak it?

After searching for ages for an image for my bricked Icarus Illumina 3 E654BK I finally found an image for the JDRead-Likebook T63S Boyue-T63HDS-JD with 300ppi and a resolution 1448x1072 which lets the device boot (into recovery and into the language selection dialog [touch is working too]), which I couldn't accomplish with any other image I found, and I tried a lot.
Unfortunately the Icarus Illumina 3 E654BK has a screen resolution of 1024x758 and only 212ppi, which makes the Rom unusable. Since Icarus disappeared there is no way, to get a working ROM for this device.
Does anyone know of a way to change the resolution in the ROM to have it working with my device?
