I read this a couple of years back. It was one of F. Paul Wilsons Adversary series, starting with The Keep. I can't remember which one.......I think there are at least 7 of them......

Is that the same "The Keep" as the terrible movie with Ian McKellan?

yes, but forget the movie. I have yet to see a movie based on a book that Hollywood doesn't totally screw up

I went to the library and checked out the whole series at one time. This is one you'll want to read in order.

F Paul Wilson also writes a lot of other books using repairman jack, so its easy to get confused......

Oh I figured the book would be much better

But holy moly that movie was terrible

I read the book in 1983 right after I saw the movie. I never realized there were sequels.

Figures ... FPW is one of my favorite authors and I pretty much read them all, except for "Secret Histories", the "prequel" to the Repairman Jack series.

Thanks for finding this out for me.

I rarely read books twice, but I think I should brush up on these!

Someone told me about an origin book of Peter Pan that explains how Never Land became, where the pirates were from, etc. Anyone else heard of this book? He didn't know the title and I can't find much online.

Thanks, but I think that focused mainly on the author. And it wasn't based on a book. He told me it was an actual book he read some time ago.
