Kiss of Midnight is now available for free.

I don't know why Down River has not shown up yet; it's available for free from the publisher and from Sony, etc.

Added along with

Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Jennifer Rardin - $1

Quote:
Rardin fuses spy girl with vampire slayer in this entertaining but derivative debut. Jasmine Jaz Parks, a martial artist turned vampire-hunting government agent, is assigned to protect top-notch operative Vayl, a 300-year-old vampire on the side of the good guys. As Vayl helps Jaz to hone her supernatural abilities and she tries to keep from falling for his Romanian charm, they track down a dirty senator in cahoots with Mohammed Khad Abn-Assan, a terrorist who's making plans for a Red Plague spread through vampire-to-human contact. Rardin delivers all the paranormal touches that fans of Hamilton, Harris and Whedon enjoy, and Jaz's jittery narration amuses, but the fang-filled plot, replete with action licks and paranormal theatrics, will have trouble standing out in this overcrowded field.

Crossroads: Navigating Your Calling and Career by Colin Creel.

Book Description

Graduating college. Landing that first job. Considering a job change-or even a career change. When we find ourselves at such crossroads, it is important to stop and reflect before taking the next step. In Crossroads, author Colin Creel seeks to navigate the murky waters of career and calling by looking at the biblical view of calling, recognizing that each of us is here for a reason, and offering practical guidelines on seizing career opportunities.

In addition to the author's thoughts, readers will encounter advice from leaders in business, Christian ministry, the arts, and education. Each chapter's "Points to Ponder" encourage readers to go deeper in their thoughts and discussions on the subject of calling and career. Readers are reminded that none of us is here by accident, and there are no accidental occupations. Everyone must pursue the talents and gifts God has afforded them.

With original insights from Christian leaders like Josh McDowell, Steve Arterburn, Max Lucado, Tammy Trent, Mark Price, and others.

The Huntress

The Huntress by Shiloh Walker. This is the first in a series by Shiloh Walker and is more of a novella than a full length novel.

Book Description

The monsters teemed the lands-all who tried to fight failed. Until a small band of terrified people united to battle back the darkness...and thus, the saga begins.

Every hero has a past.

Every legend has a beginning.

Added Novellas to the short stories section (since there doesn't seem to be any of them)

Also added that book (if you could please post future links without your affiliate link, I always have to edit it out before posting)

I've asked that it be made a sticky a couple of times but to no avail. (I have a feeling the moderators don't care for this thread in this forum, so they're basically ignoring requests to make it a sticky.)

We could just bump it to the top every now and then to keep it where everyone can see it

I think it is because a trouble maker who shall not be named, who does not even OWN a Kindle, spends a great deal of time in this forum and manages a great kerfluffle any time something is posted here that may match or even remotely resemble something posted in another forum.

DUPLICATE!!!! he shrieks!!!! and demands threads be deleted.

hi daithi, i've just stuck this thread. the best way to ask for a sticky is to click on the "report post" button (the little blue square with an exclamation point in it, next to the karma button), and request the sticky in the message ; if you just ask in the thread, it's possible that a moderator won't see your request (which apparently happened here).
