The architecture of the Inkpad 3 is sufficiently different that the root exploit won't work, therefore nor will this installer. You'll likely find that other apps working on other PockerBook devices (pbterm for example) also won't work on the Inkpad 3.

Can confirm Era Color is in the same state. Unrooted version does not work and current jailbreak isn't working either. Someone willing to get this working for newer pocketbook devices?

Might be a while before someone is able to jailbreak the newer devices.

Until then if you need OPDS, you can use the feature built into KOReader.

I run my own OPDS server. It's SSL encrypted and has basic authentication. Does this OPDS implementation for Pocketbook support those features? I haven't been able to reach it on my Verse Pro (jailbroken).

Initially I was unable to read from my calibre OPDS ("content") server but then I realised I had to append "/opds" to the URL: excellent!

If anyone's using Pocketbook with calibre: is there any way to download (or better, sync) all of the books at once, rather than one by one?

It seems that "tempsu" (a file in the pbi package) is detected as a virus named mirai.

Yeah, ignore. False positive.

The tempsu binary uses the same exploit that ezdiy's jailbreak uses to modify a file as root. I'd guess the exploit is triggering one of the many definitions for the mirai virus.

You can view the source HERE if you wish to check and compile the binary yourself. Just rename it "tempsu" and add it to the .pbi.

The Installer also doenst work on a Verse Pro Color (U634k3.6.8.3806). You can execute the pbi but the progress hangs at 100% and no opds menu gets added to Library.
