Device: KoBo TOUCH II
II --- Linux image issue

Hi all!
I got a kobo TOUCH 2.
As I would like to set a Linux, and more specifically in the end get a linux terminal on it for a project.
By reading numerous threads on this website I got a version (Kobo_Touch2_N587.img) which is supposed to work for this model but unfortunatly nothing happend when I turn it on, get a black screen and the red LED sitll remains on...

I flashed the img with a classical 'dd' command line and all the directories are visibles.

If I put the original SD card again the eReader works fine.

So I am totally stuck and do not know what to do next, if anyone has some tips they are welcome

Thanks
Johann

If you make an image of your original µSD card and place that image on another µSD card does your Touch 2.0 still boot? Please note that Kobo's software is Linux based so now I'm not sure why you wanted to re-image it.

BTW, if the image you create from your µSD card works on a new µSD card, could you please do a factory reset to wipe any personal information, make an image of that factory reset card and make it available to me.
