Devmode no longer works

I tried kobo devmodeon and no longer works, cannot turn developer mode on, and yes looked at videos and also how to enable it and won't work.

Odd, it works on my older Kobos with 4.38. firmware and my Libra Colour with 4.39. firmware. Just tested and typing devmodeoff in the search box and searching disabled developer mode, typing devmodeon in the search box and searching re-enabled developer mode (Sage and Libra Colour).

Well does not work on my Clara, with latest firmware. Only received it today

Dug out the Clara HD with 4.38.23038 and it works on there.

1. Go to home screen (not really needed but convenient)
2. Tap on the search icon
3. in where to search, Kobo Store, My Books, My Articles are tested to work
4. Type devmodeon in the search box (all lower case)
5. Tap on Go
6. The search will return no results found
7. Close the search window
8. Tap on More on the bottom line of the screen
9. Tap on Settings
10. Tap on Device Information
11. The last item in Settings will now be Developer Options (for the Clara HD, 3 pages of them)

I did not test this with SideLoadedMode enabled or other attempts to bypass registration. Since this is supported on 2 Kobos with 3.38.23038 and 1 Kobo with 4.37.23028, I feel safe in saying that it will work on any Kobo when you enter the correct term in the search box.

Also bei Kobo Clara HD geht das bei mir mit developer options, wie von beschrieben. invert mode kann da z.B. eingestellt werden.
Landscape mode hab ich auch drin. Ist glaube ich durch firmware update irgendwann drauf gewesen.

Weiß jemand etwas über den Clara BW. Also developer options geht auch, wie beschrieben.
Landscape mode funktioniert leider nicht. Muss ich da auf firmware update warten, bis landscape (für kepub, epub) geht? Die methode über die configurations datei funktioniert nicht richtig, d.h. landscape geht damit zwar, aber die Bedienung geht nicht. Scheint alles irgendwie auf den Kopf gestellt zu sein (die Funktionen).
Hat jemand nen tip, was ich machen kann? Ich brauch dringend landscape auf meinem

Warum haben die das vergessen? Ich weiss, das brauche nicht alle. Aber ich hab mich beim Clara HD so dran gewöhnt, dass ich nurungern beim Clara BW drauf verzichten mag.
Hoffe auf eine schnelle Lösung.

So with the Kobo Clara HD it works for me with developer options, as described. Invert mode can be set there, for example.
I also have landscape mode. I think it was added at some point through a firmware update. Does

anyone know anything about the Clara BW? So developer options also work, as described.
Unfortunately landscape mode doesn't work. Do I have to wait for a firmware update until landscape (for kepub, epub) works? The method using the configurations file doesn't work properly, ie landscape works with it, but the condition doesn't. Everything seems to be turned upside down (the functions).

Why did they forget it? I know not everyone needs it. But I've gotten so used to it on the Clara HD that I'd rather not do without it on the Clara BW.
