Not quite that hot here but still not going out until it cools off. Perhaps in October.

Thursday was our 8th day in a row of a heat wave. I wait until after 6 to go out and have only been going out to the health club to swim. Tuesday I only went out to food shop. Humidity seems to be down a bit today, but the locker room at the pool is not properly air conditioned and I suffer there after walking 15 blocks to get there.

It's cold, 14℃, 10℃ below average, and it's raining hard since 9am and it won't dry up until at least 6pm, which means another five hours of rain.
We have an appointment about the window blinds later, and even if it's only a 5 minute bike ride from home we'll be taking the car. |

103F, windy, and dry (humidity 14%). I'm proof-reading on my Pocketbook Era in the living room right by the humidifier, which is going full blast.
This is not nice weather if one has severe dry-eye. Could be worse though, we recently had 109F and 12% humidity. Last edited by graycyn; 07-13-2024 at 09:26 PM. Reason: Temperature just went up another degree, LOL! |

Another warm day, 25℃, two days ago temperatures barely reached 14℃. Luckily it isn't humid, so if you take it easy it's fine.
Later tonight there's a chance of thunderstorms, though it seems to be severe than they predicted this morning. |

19°C and humid. A nice early morning walk but the afternoon walk may be in doubt.

The official high temperature today was 98°F, but thermometers in town were reading 99°. And, it was very humid. The "feels like" temperature hit 110°F. There were some strong pop-up thunderstorms in the area, coming in from the west, but they split just before they reached us and one passed to the north and the other passed to the south. We did get some distant thunder and very strong winds, though, and we lost power briefly. I suspect some trees came down.
On the plus side, the temperature quickly dropped to 82°F. |

Warm, officially 26℃, but a local weather station says it's almost 29℃. Luckily the breeze is picking up, earlier today it was pretty much wind still. Tomorrow and Saturday will be even warmer. Sunday will be a cooler day, of 23℃.

Currently 24°C with a high of 29°C predicted. The humidity is on the high side so going for a walk was a sweaty business. Next week is supposed to be cooler so something to look forward to.

Another hot day, 29℃, is predicted for today. However, so far it's been very cloudy. I'm kinda hoping it stays that way, my attic bedroom won't heat up as much as when it's sunny. Although it does mean it'll be more muggy.

Currently 21°C with the high predicted to be 30°C. No clouds but the humidity is on the high side so the afternoon is going to be muggy.

The final hot day for a little while. Currently it's 25℃ and it'll go up to at least 30℃. There is seemingly no breeze right now. Or it's from a direction that it won't do anything for my rooms. There is a small chance of thunderstorms later this evening and during the night. But they'll be very local so there's a high chance we won't get any.
Add to that that I have a cold and I'm feeling very miserable already and it isn't even 10 am yet. From tomorrow it'll cool down at least. |

Much the same here temperature wise with this being the hottest day for the next week. Currently 24°C with the high of 31°C. A few clouds but no significant chance of rain in the next week.
