Did you test the simple script I suggested?

If you create the scripts on a Windows PC, use Notepad++ and make sure to change the setting from the menu:

thank you my lord))

I think i was doing a lot of bullshit in linux terminal and in windows notebook, also in pbterm to make files executable. So, i just save file following your instruction and put it to /mnt/ext1/system/init.d

I'm not experiencing this. Have you added any additional koreader plugins? If so, try disabling them.

When closing Koreader it saves the state. If the reader is shut down with power button or even automatically it loses the changed settings. apparently there is something wrong with the jailbreak where it doesnt allow koreader to write the last files before powering off.
seems to work after removing jailbreak

I'm using this jailbreak and use koreader daily, I definitely do not have this issue. Maybe open a new thread explaining your problem and post your koreader log file? Make sure to enable the verbose advanced setting so koreader writes as much info as possible.

EDIT:
I thought koreader saved its state with every page turn rather than just at close?

FYI... I have this plugin installed, maybe this helps or makes a difference?

PB 618?

I have Pocketbook 618 and I really want to have root privileges on it. Did someone test it? And can it work? I am afraid to brick it but I want root on all computers I use. If someone successful successfuly jailbroken PB 618 I will do it too.

I dream of PostmarketOS on this device. What does it takes to port it? Is it possible? Is uboot in PB github for it?

Exclamation Services partially work on PB618

Jailbreak works on PB618 but Services added root settings but no htop, nano was installed. There is some errors in the log.

Jailbreak apparently does not work on Verse Pro Color (U634k3.6.8.3806) with Linux kernel version 4.9.56 (this is the kernel version in the current SDK 6.8 for the B300 CPU).

Maybe the exploit in the old kernel (3.10.65 iirc) has been fixed so this tool will no longer work on newer devices.

Can anyone confirm this? Is someone already working on a fix?

Thanks, Leo
