Thanks for your reply and Upps, that was my failure!

As I didn't had any Users listed in Apps, I checked again and the file koreader.app was missing in the directory /applications/ as I just copied the koreader folder and its content over, but I missed the app.

I’m sorry if this question was asked before but I couldn’t find an answer, so I’ll ask it here.

I understand that I’ll be able to install Pocketbook firmware on a Vivlio device. But is it possible to connect a Vivlio device to a different bookstore?

Let’s say I buy a Vivlio device from Cultura. Will I be able to “connect” it to Standaard Boekhandel instead, considering that Standaard Boekhandel is selling Vivlio devices in my country?

I’m asking because I’m on vacation in France and my Kindle that I always used for traveling looks dead. Buying a Vivlio and installing Pocketbook firmware on (by connecting it to my spouse’s steam deck) it would already suffice but being able to access my purchases at Standaard Boekhandel would be really cool.

I didn't do it but the bookstore is defined in the hidden partition, so only with root or the help of Vivlio.

Same as before, asked Vivlio direkt or get root and change the bookstore to your liking.

Thank you very much! I’ve bought a Vivlio, installed the Pocketbook firmware on it and sent some books to it from my Synology NAS. My vacation is saved!!

A side note: immediately removing DRM from all the purchases is essential!!

It's interesting that I had to reinstall my KOReader after installing this update. It disappeared from the applications list (/applications/bin/ folder). The /applications/koreader/ folder was intact, though, so my settings were preserved.

That's the first time this happens after an update (I had 3 of them on Inkpad Color 3 so far).

Since the firmware update, my Pocketbook InkPad Color 3 has problems being recognized as a USB device. Tested on 3 computers, so the eReader must be the problem.

Even a reset to the factory settings did not help.

Try navigating to the home screen on Pocketbook before connecting the USB cable. It helped me in some cases.

I want to ask if PB 740 Inkpad 3 is now discontinued? Or it will no longer be supported, without updates? It is no longer offered in the Pocketbook product catalog. There is only Inkpad 4, Inkpad X and Inkpad 3 Pro.

Try with another cable. Some of my cables do not allow me to synch the Inkpad, only charge it....

Try with another cable, I have the same inkpad and I have only one usb cable that allows computers to recognise it as a usb device...
