How to achieve Publishers Layout?
Hi Overthere,
I've become very fond of KOReader over the last year or so. Thank you very much for this great piece of software :-) One thing bothers me though from the beginning: How do I get KO to display a book as intended by the publisher? On some books I really like the styles it is set in and how everythings looking in PB2 or PB3, and I can't seem to find a way to have it look the same in KO. Anybody got a hint for me? Thx a lot in advance! |

Start from bottom menu, last tab - enable Embedded styles and fonts. Then, go to top menu, Style Tweaks (second tab, I believe), and disable those that aren’t default.

Is there an easier way to achieve publisher defaults and then go back to your custom settings without having to then set them again?

Yes, you can use Profiles.
1) There is an option to save all current settings to a Profile, in Top menu - Document Settings - Save current settings to a profile. So, you can tweak close to “publisher defaults” and save these settings to a Profile. 2) For all other “default” settings, you can always revert to them from the same Document settings sub-menu in Top menu. 3) To make a setting default, long-press on the setting, it will ask you to confirm. This works for many settings in Bottom menu, as well as Top menu. |

Ok, I figured it out. It appears that the option was moved to:
TOP MENU / Tools / Profiles / New with current document settings |
