Instalation and setup dificulties

when installing on ubuntu linux server i keep geting this error, is there a way for me to fix this issue, I also have no idea on how to set calibre up after it has been correctly installed

Are you installing calibre from the command line found at calibre - Download for Linux or are you using a repository or FlatPak version?

You are missing libglx read the first line of the error message you posted

I fixed the libGLX.s error but i now have these errors

qt.qpa.plugin: From 6.5.0, xcb-cursor0 or libxcb-cursor0 is needed to load the Qt xcb platform plugin.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: vnc, wayland-egl, offscreen, minimal, eglfs, wayland, linuxfb, vkkhrdisplay, minimalegl, xcb.

Aborted (core dumped)

Looking at the calibre Linux install page, there is a item under notes:

I am having trouble getting past this point in the install as well. When I run the python installer script it has a xdg-desktop-menu error that no writable system menu directory is found. I have a suspicion that this is due to trying to run the installer as root, but wanted some advice on how to proceed.
