calibre no longer auto converts imported .zip to .cbz

As the title says suddenly calibre no longer auto converts imported .zip to .cbz.

Any ideas what it could be?

All you need to do is rename .zip to .cbz. They are they exact same format except for the file extension.

ok but why is it no longer auto converting the zip to cbz like before? Did something change in the recent updates?

Auto conversion happens if

1) The archive extract plugin is not disabled under Prefere ces->Plugins
2) calibre thinks the zip file is a cbz using some heauristics such as it having only known image file types inside it, etc.
