Can I update a jailbroken pw3 from 5.9.6.1 to 5.16.2.1.1
I have kindle pw3 with firmware 5.9.6.1 and I want to update to 5.16.2.1.1
Will it still be jailbroken after the update? |

Install latest NiLuJe’s hotfix
Restart Kindle twice Update to 5.16.2.1.1 Install hotfix again Restart twice Reinstall all your packages |

Congrats!
 Don’t go above that though. All packages are broken above 5.16.2.x because Amazon switched from soft floats to hard floats (compilation related things), and all packages are soft floats. So even if there would be JB (and currently, JB can be restored even if you update), nothing else works (yet) |
