series_index issue
Bonjour from Paris
In the Calibre UI, it looks like the series_index is a float type with no traling 0 (i.e 1.1 and not 1.10). I use the decimal point . as a delimiter for complete serie. Exple, the second tome of a series of 5 books will be tagged like this: "serie_name [2.5]". Q1/ Is there a way to have the trailing 0 in the UI. (ie something like [1.10])? Nota: I don't want to create 2 new user columns for series and series_index. Q2/ I tried to manually modify the series_index in the opf file of a book but can't reload the information into Calibre. Any solution? Merci Hieraklion |

The index is Floating point, not Alpha. There is no .10 because there are no trailing 0's
You can format the series in the file name template when sending, but internally it is sill a number I pad the fractional (only when indicating an omnibus) 2.05 (means Vols 2-5. even then it falls apart on a few edge cases. eg 2-10) Some thins you live with as the other also has issues (ASCII sort) 2 20 3 300 |
