@PeterT, A lot of what is in the first post is obsolete, old versions, or just plain no longer working. A lot of the things in that post that are still valid have links to old versions that may or may not work.

I think this thread should be redone from scratch and a new one stickied. This one is just too confusing. Also, it should have another thread for chat and corrections/additions.

Also in the first post, all URLs should also include the firmware versions they work with.

Would you have a problem dropping anything that cannot be determined to still work because it's too old?

Also, it may not be possible to know what the earliest firmware it works with. But it if still works, that means it works with 4.28 at least. NickelMenu and NickleClock we do know work with 4.29.

This frankly is why I've advocated for a VERY LONG time that info like this belongs in the MobileRead WIKI and not forum posts.

The Wiki provides the ability for anyone to edit / correct / update the material.

A lot (if not ALL) of my interest in maintaining things like this has vaporized.
