I'm just reading the Shardlake series at the moment, and enjoying it very much. It helped me when two of my cats recently died (which sounds a bit funny, given that the books can occasionally be pretty pessimistic, but there it is). It's a pity there won't be any more books in the series. Still, we're all mortals and no one can avoid the same fate. R.I.P. |
