Does firmware upgrade preserve the KOReader app?
Hi,
I have a PocketBook HD3 with an older firmware (v5.9.832) and I was wondering if the upgrade to the latest version (v6.8.2102) would damage in any way my KOReader installation. Should I make a backup of its folder, just in case? Thanks. |

It shouldn't affect KOReader in any way... but it's so quick to make a backup and good to have anyway.

Pocketbook firmware upgrades never affected my pre-existing Koreader installations. But I think that the latest firmware upgrades on Inkpad 3 are simply not worth it, probably the same on HD 3.

The latest FW on the HD3 provides some improved dictionary features as well as dark (inverted) mode. Worth it in my opinion.
