Processor SQ2 of type ARM
Hello !
I'm going to buy a "Microsoft Surface pro X". This tablet has a "Microsoft SQ2" processor of type "ARM". Anyone know if there is a compatibility issue with Calibre? The SQ2 processor is incompatible with some "X64" applications. Thank you for your answers |

You asked and got 2 answers before.
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...05#post4306505 Microsoft has some sort of emulator / translator as the SQ2 ARM cpu can't run regular x86 or x64 windows code at all, thus ability to run regular windows programmes is slower and some won't work at all and others may fail. |

You are best to buy a Surface with an Intel processor as you know it will run Windows programs you want to run. This SQ2 is going to not work well (IMHO). Or you could y a different Windows tablet from someone else such as Lenovo, HP, Dell, and others. |
