Question Regular expressions in normal search


Anyone know how I can just search the library for Authors or book titles containing special characters like brackets, comma or backslash

I know how to use the regular expressions in search and replace, but regular expressions don't seem to work in the normal search.

See the manual for the calibre search interface. You will see two solutions: regular expression and character variant searches.
