Calibre Companion and Calibre 6

Has anyone checked if Calibre Companion is compatible with Calibre 6 or 6.x versions?

Awaiting your kind reply,

Thanks for your replies!

Other than keeping current with the latest version of Calibre, what is the main reason or desirable feature of this version?

Keeps up with newest devices. If your device works, no need to update.

Now has an ARM version
No longer has a 32 bit version

If Calibre 5.x works for you, then no reason to switch.
OTOH you will lose support for some (plugin) services as what they support they moves on.
