"beef up" PRS300 fonts?
Hi, revived my PRS300 recently after my nook Glowlight+ bit the dust. The fonts (all epub files) seem pretty thin and low-contrast. I know it's an older e-ink display technology, but is there any way to make the letters thicker with better contrast?
I have PRS-Plus installed, poked around the menus a bit, didn't find anything helpful. Suggestions? Thx! |

If it supports embedded fonts, you may need to replace them in ePubs with better readable fonts (there are some threads here). Unfortunately, one has to do this repeatedly, for each book.
For last series, T1-3, there was given the possibility of replacing stock fonts, so that reediting of each book (which uses the default fonts) is rendered moot. How to do it is again in one thread here. Maybe 300 series can be taught this, too. |
