Jotas firmware killing battery, around 25% per day.

I have Jotas1-r9-1, and since installing it, my battery flattens itself, when off, without any interference at all. I charged the battery fully last night and it is already down to 3 bars on the battery.

Is there a fix for this or am I left trying to find yet another firmware that works?
In under a week it killed the battery completely to the point the battery controller cut off the battery completely.

Does anyone have any other firmwares? Buggins or even original?

I have two brand new V5's and it would be a shame, and a waste of money, to have to swap to a kindle or other ereader.
