More help with German, please
I'm working on an ebook by Elizabeth von Arnim, written in English but set in Germany. She says to two young people getting married: Nun Kinder, liebt Euch, und seid brav.
Does this mean something like: Now children, love each other and be good |

It literally says "love yourself", but I think "each other" is the meaning, yes.

Thanks, Harry
And another question: What does Wahlverwandschaften mean? Google translate has Electoral relationships, but that doesn't make any sense in the context. |

"und seid brav" literally means "and be well-behaved," but, of course, "and be good" would be a more idiomatic translation. Quote:
