Google Playstore won't run on Icarus Illumina

firmware seems to have been updated around April, did this fix problems for anyone here? does root still work for you after the update?

Dear all,

we have posted an update in our FAQ for owners of Icarus Illumina e-readers produced after April 2015. With this update, users can get access to the Google Play Store.

The update will not work on devices before April 2015.

Valid devices have serial numbers with icil201504xxxxxx or later.

Please be aware that updating your device's firmware will remove any installed apps and possibly could lead to data loss.

For any Illumina XL owners: we have also released the option to install Google Play Store on that e-reader.

Hi, new pbm :
The power button doesn't work any more for "wake up" or "standby sleep"
BUT it works for long-press' turn off and on. Weird right ?

It worked normally before I did this, (which may be the cause ?) :
1° I did that : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1082408
2° and something like that (not quite sure) :

C:\...\Minimal ADB and Fastboot> adb shell
root@android:/ # pm get-install-location
2[external]
root@android:/ # pm set-install-location 2
