[SOLVED] Any hope for bricked Nook?
I'm terribly embarrassed, but I did a bad thing and ended up putting the 1.0.0 firmware on my newer (SN# 10110) Classic. Yes, I know I'm not supposed to do that, but I got my bravo_update files mixed up when trying to restore the firmware to fix a crashing browser that cropped up while trying to root 1.7. Now I'm stuck with an infinite loop of "Restoring to Factory Fallback".
Any possibility to recover from this, or is it now just a paperweight? Any way to force it to look at the SD card for different firmware? Thanks -Joe Last edited by joejoethedog; 05-25-2015 at 06:40 PM. Reason: updated to note that issue is solved |

[SOLVED]
In case anyone else has this same problem, I found a Russian posting with a zip file that you use to create a SD card that will install a working firmware! Note, it will install a rooted 1.5 firmware. http://translate.google.com/translat...36&prev=search
