Easiest server relocate I have been a part of.
I usually get stuck doing the reconnecting in the 'Hot' aisle. Outstanding job Alex |

Absolutely no problems here in Aus either.
I unwittingly looked at MR when the site was off line and being changed over, and then again just after it was back up and had absolutely no problems accessing the site. And that was from my phone here in Aus. This morning likewise, no problems accessing the site via phone or PC. Well done!!! |

Sometimes it can take a long time for the DNS to fully change over. This time it seemed to be fairly quick.

Beside reducing the time-to-live for the DNS to a minimum in advance, we also continued (and are still continuing) to run the Canada servers, which transparently proxy all requests to the US servers if your ISP still uses the old DNS values.

Ahhh, so if I say "what? who? when? something changed? I didn't see nuthing. It all looks exactly the same to me." then maybe the old servers is part of it. But anyway, congratulations. I see absolutely no difference! Smooth as buttah!
