Irex Iliad doesnt save current page

I recently had to use the reset button on the back of my Iliad when it wasn't shutting down. After this every time i quit a book it returns to page 1. Anyone know how I can get it to start saving positions/bookmarks again?

I noticed it does remember what page im on for files on internal memory but not for the ones stored on compact flash.
