will kein Thread dafür neu aufmachen, also hier :
der Galaxy ace ist da, bin noch aum auspacken usw, aber schon mal als info: in der Verpackung lagen 2 Deckel, 1 gerippt in dunkler anthrazit (schätze mal das das die "schwarze" ist) und 1 in weiss. Bestellt hatte ich schwarz, es gab zu bestellen schwarz oder weiss. Macht anscheinens keinen Sinn, sich verrückt über die Farbe zu machen, man bekommt beide.
GPS ist sofort aktiv geworden und hat uns innerhalb von 30s gefunden, obwohl selbst Dad's TOMTOM grosse schwierigkeiten hier bei mir hat, sich einzulocken. Das ist schon mal was. Hoffentlich kann er auch gut telefonieren....

Vodafone. Movistar ging hier nur an der küste, aber versagt kläglich sobald man sich mehr als 3 km vom Strand entfernt (schon arm oder? ), und ich wohne in der sierra genau 7 km vom meer. Hatte am anfang movistar genomnen, musste aber dann doch wechseln, ging wirklich nicht. Dafür geht vodafone super, ob unten oder hier. Komischerweise kann auch (besser gesagt will) telefonica hier keine neue fixlines installieren, daher haben wir optic fiber vom vozplus, super zum surfen aber schlecht zum telefonieren :'(

Na kein Wunder bei dem Preis

Hab mir letzte Woche bei Ebay einen chinesischen 7"er ersteigert, und nachdem ich eine interne 16 GB Karte eingebaut habe und das ganze mit einer Custom FW von Slatedroid.com versehen habe ist das Ding der Oberknaller (zumindest für seine 130 €).

Natürlich kann das Display nicht mit Samsung oder Apple mithalten und die Kamera ist auch nur mässig (aber wer rennt schon mit so nem Ding rum und macht Fotos, und zum Skypen reichts allemal).

Einzige Macke bisher istein Kurzschluss in der verlötung der WiFi-Antenne, aber das richtet mir mein örtlicher Computerfachmann in den nächsten Tagen.

Immerhin hab ich nen HDMI Fernsehausgang (funzt einwandfrei), ein 3-Punkt Kapazitives Display (5-Punkt ist in Arbeit) und nen USB-Host für Maus und Tastatur (Maus geht, Tastatur hab ich noch nicht ausprobiert).

Alles in allem: Wenn man das nicht zu verachtende Restrisiko in Kauf nimmt, das man evtl. defekte oder falsche Ware von den Chinesen bekommt, und den anschliessenden HickHack bis man von PayPal seine Kohle wiederhat nicht scheut, dann ist dieses Tab eine durchaus ernsthafte Alternative.

Es gibt dort auch Tablets mit dem Tegra TwinCore für deutlich Kleineres Geld als bei Samsung / Acer /....

Dieser Laden von dem ich die Produktbeschreibung habe gehört übrigens zu den "Seriöseren" Chinahändlern, und ist auch der Ursprungshändler von meinem Gerät.
Sie hatten mir wegen der Antenne sogar ein Ersatzgerät angeboten, aber scheinbar tritt dieses Problem häufiger auf, und die Kiste ist dann erstmal 6 Wochen weg, ohne Gewähr, da lass ich lieber hier löten
