Looks interesting, I will have to check it out.

•SONY Driver: Add an option to automatically refresh the covers on every connect. Accessible via: Preferences->Plugins->Device interface plugins

In consideration of the moderators and developers, how about having a "Sticky" available every time an update is issued where comments and problems can be posted rather then have 10 or more threads started like yesterday for 7.39?

That way they don't have to start reading multiple threads reporting the same thing.

Note that to work, metadata management must be set to automatic. You probably don't want to do this if you use ADE or Sony Reader to manage collections.

thanks, I went back and read the change log and decided I have no interest in the new feature for the Sony, I only use non drm and my covers come accross without any problem.

I have to say I am very happy with this update

Even though I have managed by just resending the books as it only takes a few seconds to actually upload, but this should make things even quicker now that I don't have to look and find the few books I have uploaded to the reader (they do not appear on top of the library list once uploaded) and then select them all again to be resent.

Not only have the Calibre team re added thumbnails but they have now fixed as best as they can the problem with the Sony Readers refreshing the thumbnails on first send!
